Holiday Packing Made Easy…

We hope that everyone is starting to get a little taste of summer now and perhaps you are beginning to think about planning your summer holiday. Here at Caramel, we have a lovely range of summer clothes to suit all kinds of vacation. Whether you are off somewhere exotic this year or simply planning a break nearer home, we have some fab outfits that we know you’ll just love. To help you with your packing, we have put together the following capsule collections that are perfect for mixing and matching your holiday clothes…

Beach Holiday 

If you are headed off to a beach or island getaway then these are the holiday essentials for you. The 3 tunics are perfect for popping on over your cossie when you want to cover up a bit. These can also all be worn with the white cropped jeans when you are out and about. The long skirt has an elasticated waistband, making it easy to pull on over swimwear. This can also be teamed with the white vest top and cardigan later in the day. The Sandwich striped dress and maxi dress are also ideal for wearing in the evening with the white cardigan.

City Break

If you are planning a city break, then why not inject some colour into your holiday wardrobe? Wear the patterned skirt with the pink cardi and navy vest top – just add heels and a bright necklace to complete the look. The striped top and printed t-shirt can both be worn with the plum coloured crops for easy, stylish day wear. If you want to go a bit smarter, then the 2 dresses are ideal. If it gets a little chilly, then the grey cardi looks great worn with the striped nautical style dress.

Glamping Holiday

For those who are going camping this year, we have some great casual wear that is far more stylish than your run of the mill outdoor gear. Versatile Occasion Dressing

The weather is finally improving and your thoughts may be starting to turn to what to wear to some of the occasions you have been invited to this summer.

We hope to provide you with some inspiration as well as showing you how to make those outfits work a bit harder.  We find from talking to our customers in our stores that the days of buying an outfit to wear once are long gone.  What we need are outfits that serve more than one purpose and therefore provide value for money.  So we have put together some of our favourite occasion outfits and then suggested alternative ways to wear them after the event. So a wedding outfit becomes a work outfit, a party outfit becomes a way to smarten up your jeans. This is all part of the service our style advisors provide on a shopping trip to a Caramel store and now our online customers can have some of that inspiration too.

Ted Baker provide us with beautiful dresses, cardis and jackets that are so versatile. Fun & Quirky Prints For Spring

We know florals are a huge trend this spring but we have been seeking the more unusual print motifs which are also on trend.

We love this bicycle print by Great Plains – available on dresses, skirts, tops and scarves,  in a range of different colours.  The Shy Knit Cardigan is great for mixing and matching with these items and makes the perfect cover up for those chilly spring days.

Our newest brand, Nice Things, is known for their quirky understated prints. This season they have a camping theme, as seen on some of their shirts and tops – perfect for your summer glamping holiday.

From Ted Baker, we have a couple of gorgeous multicoloured scarves – one with a fun, black cab print and another featuring a Georgian windows print. These striking colours will be sure to brighten up any outfit and add a touch of style in the process.
